We at University Chaplaincy Uppsala are here to listen to and talk about what is important to you. You can have a faith or not have a faith - everyone is welcome. We are part of the educational social network and are bound by professional confidentiality. Call us or email us to make an appointment. You can find phone numbers and e-mail addresses here

Student life is an important time. It may even be your first time leaving home. You meet new friends, broaden your horizons through studies and social life and, of course, are shaped by new experiences.

But student life also puts great demands on you and if these become too much to handle it can help to confide in someone else. We at the University Chaplaincy do not claim to have the answers to all of life's questions, but we are convinced that a good talk can help to make things feel a little better. We are here to talk about life’s big or small questions, such as choices, relationships, faith and doubts.

You can meet us at our office, through the phone, digitally or go for a walk-and-talk.

About our different meeting forms

In person, in our facilities

When booking a face-to-face talk, you come to our Facilities, which we share with the Student helath concelling and Uppsala Studentkår, at Övre Slottsgatan 7. We are located on the first floor, where you ring the bell that says “Universitetskyrkan”.

Walk-and-talk

A walk-and-talk is a method that allows you to both talk and walk at the same time. Movement and fresh air can provide new healthy thoughts - and make us more relaxed. Changes in the environment can also help to gain new perspectives mentally. Sometimes it can also be a little easier to say what you want to say when you move together, instead of sitting opposite someone.

A walk-and-talk can take between half an hour to an hour.

SMS/Chatt

Sometimes it can feel easier to write than to talk. If you want to text, there is the possibility to do so, and we will specify the details when you contact us.

Phone call

If you are not able to physically come to our facilities, or feel that it is easier to talk on the phone than in person, you can book a phone call.
